GE HQ Wins QMBA Award
The Queensland Master Builders Awards were held on Friday night (9 October) with GE Headquarters, Springfield receiving one of the top accolades.
The Master Builder Awards recognise those at the forefront of innovation and quality, showcasing excellence in Queensland’s housing and construction industry.
Builder Kane Constructions took home the award for Commercial Facilities over $5 million
The $55m GE HQ is a 15,000m2 office building consisting of six stories with two levels of basement carparking. It has a 5 Star Green Star and 4.5 Star NABERS rating.
The project was completed 6 weeks ahead of schedule and 10% under budget
The project was designed by Conrad Gargett Architecture. Meinhardt (QLD) provided civil and structural engineering services.
