Virgin Australia’s Expanded Brisbane Airport Lounge Opens
The first stage of the long-awaited expansion to Virgin Australia’s Brisbane Airport lounge is now complete, providing travellers with considerably more elbow room during peak times.
Meinhardt (QLD) Pty Ltd was appointed as the Structural & Civil engineering consultants for the expansion of Virgin’s domestic terminal at the Brisbane Airport.
This complex project involved expanding the terminal to house a larger Virgin Business Lounge and relocating and upgrading the Virgin Valet area.
The project also involved the relocation of vital in-ground services. Meinhardt undertook extensive engagement and communication along with Watpac, the managing contractor, and other consultants to successfully deliver this project maintaining the full operationality of the airport throughout construction.
